Although my 120-pound rottweiler could get into our jeep with a little struggle, we noticed that the first step she would take on the way up was always on the door weather stripping. After a short time, the weather stripping was torn up and had to be replaced. After paying a surprising amount to replace it, I needed to find a solution to this problem. I bought steps for my dog but realized that my dog would not use them. I then tried a ramp with no luck. Dogs have a harder time walking up inclines and are uncomfortable with the narrowness of the ramps. Also, neither one was easy to use with the side door. After finding nothing that would work, I decided to make my own very stable folding platform that my dog loves. I have had so much interest in the platform we decided to sell them in our store. Not only does this work great with any car or SUV, but we have found that it makes a great step to get into a hotel or home bed. Our dog even sometimes sleeps on it because it is so comfortable. What makes this so likeable for dogs is that it allows them to get all four legs on the platform before taking the next step.
