Orig Fire Dept Fireman Dress Suit, Hat Sz 7 1/8, 17yr Badge, Buttons & Red Axe

Description: Up for auction is a Beautiful Old Vintage Original Oregon Fire Department Fireman Dress Suit/Tunic, Hat, 17 year Badge & Red Hand Axe Set: 1) Navy Blue 100% Wool Dress Suit (Jacket/Tunic and Slacks) styled by Sears, Roebuck and Co. Left jacket sleeve has two white stripes and 2 stars, right jacket sleeve has two stripes. Jacket has zipper front with two button-down flap pockets. Back of jacket has tailored waist with two side tabs both featuring buttons. A set of 10 additional buttons (as pictured) is also included. Size is not marked. Measurement across chest at underarm seam measures approx. 20". Sleeve length from outside shoulder seam measures approx. 26-1/2". Waist measurement is approx 33-34" and inseam is approx. 32". 2) This 1950's time period Hat has 2 FD buttons that hold the Silver colored front Metal Ban located across front section of Hat. Has 5 breathe/air holes located on top rim of Hat. Has sewn on tag showing 7 1/8 as it's size. Had stamped/written information on inside top section liner of hat but has worn off some of it over time, thus can't read it. Has Brown inside Ban with Multiple breathe/air holes on it. Please see pictures for details. 2) Original 17 year award Badge. 3) Short Handle Red Axe. Having the Red Painted Classic style of traditional Fireman Equipment. Great Original Vintage Original Classic Fireman's Dress Suit, Dress Hat, 17 year Award Badge & Short Handle Red Axe from Oregon for that Historical Fireman Collector out there. Age: 1950's (Hat & Hand Axe) & 1970's (17 year Award Badge), Age of Dress Suit is unknown. This info was told to me by his son. Size: Suit - see measurements in above description. Hat - Sewn on Tag says 7 1/8 on Hat. 17 year Award Badge is 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". Short Handle Axe is 15" Long x 5" Metal Axe Head. Condition: Suit is in good to very good condition for it's vintage age. There is some "sheen" around pocket edges and a few minor imperfections. No rips, tears, or odors. Lining is whole and intact. Some dust around shoulder tabs. Hat is Very Good to Excellent overall condition (Only a little dusty). 17 Year Award Badge is in Excellent condition. Short Handle Axe is in Good Condition (Showing expected wear from usage of a Fireman) Please see pictures for Details.
