It is 100% handcrafted by a very experienced and reputable pottery artist MUKUROJI Kimisaburo in Japan. He crafts every cat in different shape with unique decoration. MUKUROJI Kimisaburo lives in Imari city in Kyushu island, Japan. He is well known as a pottery artist as well as an incomparable cat lover, living with 10+ cats. This beckoning cat was 100% hand-made by him in his life with those cats. Each cat is unique, i.e., "only one in the world". He engraved his signature (Kimi) at the bottom (photo #14). This beckoning cat is very heavy (682 gr / 24.1 oz) because its inside is not hollow, i.e., filled with cray. Such a beckoning cat is very very rare.
