Description: This Sale Is For One Pair of Tannoy Model 7300.0640 12" Dual Concentric Speakers With Crossovers. These speakers were removed from a local auditorium that was torn down. They are in excellent operational and cosmetic condition. Each speaker weighs 20 pounds 8 ounces. The speakers are attached to the metal frame shown in the photos. I am leaving it on for safer shipping. According to the local Tannoy rep these speakers are the same as their model CMS 12 TDC. Perfect for home theater systems, foreground music/paging systems, live theater, houses of worship etc. The crossover has a multi-tap input transformer to allow for different system input voltages up to 70 volts for commercial applications. If you look at the closeup photo of the transformer you can see the red and black wires that you can remove from the transformer and connect directly to a regular amplifier to effectively by-pass the transformer and still get the proper frequency separation provided by the crossover. I have done this with my stereo system and I am amazed at the power and clarity of these speakers! My current speakers start to distort at about half volume output from my amp. These speakers exhibit no distortion even at full volume! I plan on keeping 2 pair for my personal use.
