Description: I am selling this out of my personal collection, it is a 1960s Omega Seamaster Automatic Date! This watch has always been a little bit of a mystery to me, because the bezzle has a coin edge finish to it. This watch also has the long S on its dial, which dates it early 60s and a makes it more rare than the other seamasters like it. I runs the caliber 562 24 jewel movement. It is Automatic it is self winding but it also allows you to wind it mechanically by spinning the Crown clockwise.case is 14770-SC2. Also this watch comes with an original omega crystal, and it has the miniature omega symbol in the middle of the crystal. I purchased this watch a few years ago and performed a minor service on it myself. It has been keeping almost perfect time since, it within a few seconds a day. The band is a beads of rice, I went through and tightened the links and also replaced the clasp With the OEM part. I really hate to sell this piece but I have too many watches right now. Indeed a collectible piece from the golden era of Omega.
