Description: One of a Kind Wah Pedal Built all "In Line" just like the original Vox wah pedals. It has Switchcraft Jacks, an older large Pot that has been opened and cleaned, a true bypass Carling DPDT heavy duty switch. 4 Tropical fish caps, a Muse Cap., Carbon Composition Resistors, a Halo Inductor, a beefed-up 9V Battery connector and wiring. Beefed up with 22-gauge wire (so it won't break after 2 or 3 battery changes!). NOTE: this Does NOT Include a jack for a battery eliminator! This is built like an original Wah, long before such luxuries were ever available. This pedal will far outshine any new pedal I am aware of they are pawning off as Wah pedals currently (unless maybe if you are paying in excess of $200). The clear silicone that's holding the wires on each side looks a bit gloppy, but it's doing its job. These old shells cost between $40 and $50. This inductor's cost was $40. The capacitors, transistors, carbon composition resistors etc. combined are in the neighborhood of another $25. The switch and the jacks are another $15. That doesn't include all the labor, wire, solder and so on. So, this is truly a bargain at this price. Were already at $120 and that's on the "cheap" end of this scenario. It doesn't look like a prize, but who cares? What's important is what it sounds like. The sound of this pedal more than makes up for the fact it looks well used. This old shell is built like a tank.
