The glossy 12 by 15 3/4 poster -- printed in the late 1990s or early 2000s -- reproduces four 1950s photos, including one of Ernest Hemingway, by the award-winning Cuban photographer RAUL CORRALES (1925-2006). A biography and photo of Raul Corrales can be found on the back of the poster, which was originally made for sale at the Museo Ernest Hemingway, Finca Vigia. The museum is located in the hillside house outside Havana where "Papa" Hemingway lived from 1939 to 1960. The back of the poster also includes a quote from Hemingway's epic novella, The Old Man and the Sea, about an aging fisherman (like the one in the photo!) and his long struggle to catch a giant marlin.
