Rare early 18th century German broadside announcing a fire in the city of Ohrdruf and a formal request to begin collecting charity to aid in rebuilding. Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, old damp staining and wrinkling, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Sheet measures c. 14" H x 8 1/4" W. Printed area measures c. 8" H x 6" W.
