Description: This is a vintage Chevrolet "Cool Pack" underdash/tunnel mounted A/C unit. This recently came from an estate sale so I don't have any history on it. From what I can tell, this was a factory optional accessory on 1958-1960 Chevrolet models. I imagine is was also available on other GM models with a different emblem in the center. Please confirm your specific application. This A/C unit is in good unrestored condition as shown. This is the control unit only as shown. An A/C compressor, condenser, lines, and other parts are necessary to make this complete. That said, this is the heart of the system and is the cool piece you look at when in the car. I don't see any breaks, modifications, or repairs to this unit. The housing has never been painted or modified that I can see. Both levers move as they should. This unit is in very good core condition. This is being sold as needing rebuild/restoration if you want it to be functional. Don't miss this awesome factory option.
