Description: For sale is a very hard to find figurine of a turkey couple made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century . It has the male turkey aka Tom and the female hen standing together on a nice base with some nice detail to it. They birds are really well modeled and left mostly in the white to show off all those details except for they heads and feet and the beard of the male. The base has a greenish brown ground color to it with some relief grass details to the porcelain. It's a superb piece especially for the turkey lover or your Thanksgiving table. The figure is 4.5 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. The figure is marked with the impressed shield mark that was colored in blue to the front of the base, another impressed shield mark underneath with the model number 604 over 0 and the artist initials are on the back of the base in between the male turkey's feet as shown.
