Description: The box is heavily worn and missing the inner cardboard pieces, and the serial number does not match the console. The console and DualShock 2 controller have some normal cosmetic wear, including light scratches on the top of the console and worn paint on the back of the controller, but are tested and working, except the console's clock battery is dead so it cannot tell the time. I consider replacing the battery more trouble than it's worth on this model, so I don't do it myself. Please note that this unmodified Japanese (NTSC-J region) PS2 console will not play American (NTSC-U/C region) game discs, or American (Region 1) DVDs. It is for use with Japanese games and DVDs only. The console is tested to read games successfully from black (PS1), blue, and silver CD and DVD discs. I will include a Sony OEM A/V cable and a power cable. It will work in North America.
