Description: One of the oldest and most fascinating unsolved mysteries from the 20th century. D.B. Cooper and his famous highjacking/skyjacking of Northwest airlines. Jumping out of the plane with 200k in ransom money never to be heard from or seen again. My grandfather Ralph Himmelsbach being a pilot and having great knowledge of flight paths and familiarity with the greater northwest region was assigned the lead investigator role at the F.B.I. to hunt down and apprehend D.B. Cooper. Norjack was the code name the Bureau used for the case, so fitting he should use that name for his book. This book is a fascinating look into the story and the investigation of the events of November 24th 1971 and after. Ralph chased after thousands of leads all the way up to his retirement. I had the pleasure and honor to spend most of my childhood and young adult years having conversations with my grandfather about the case. When I was 14 he gave me a copy of his book to read myself. I remember how captivated I was. Over the years D.B. Cooper has become a legendary story. 53 years and counting and still unsolved. Not 1 bill was ever circulated. No body found. Hundreds of theories exist, no one knows for certain. Private investigations still take place. Documentaries, podcasts, books, and yes even a cooper-con convention. I grew up seeing my grandfather on T.V., shows like Hard Copy, Inside Edition, America's Most Wanted, Unsolved Mysteries, and even a missing persons episode of Oprah. A few years ago my grandfather passed away and afterwards the family went through his belongings left behind to us. I was fortunate to receive the majority of his D.B. Cooper related things. Amongst which is Brand New First Editions of his book Norjack. This book was only printed once. No publishing house has the rights to the book so it has not been reprinted. There are only the original number of books printed by my grandfather. He had copies that he would sell to friends and the like, looking online you will be hard pressed to find brand new copies if any at all. Used copies are sold for extortion prices due to the scarcity. So now I am bringing this piece of history to the masses by offering a very reasonable deal on this rare book.
