This solid wooden mini holder is the perfect solution for all seasons and occasions! This mini holder is hand made from 100+ year old black walnut and can hold 2 of your favorite minis on one side, or flip it over to only display one on the other. This walnut appears to be quarter-sawn and was reclaimed from an old interior door from a circa 1923 schoolhouse. The dark (almost black) areas are an attribute of the age of the wood. Compare it to recently sawn walnut and the differences are very apparent. I try very hard to photograph our blocks to show the actual color as accurately as possible on all visible sides. Zooming in will reveal more of the beauty and natural grain of this wood. Our holders have been dried (this one for over a century), cut to size, sanded smooth and finished with a hand-rubbed oil & a final coat of furniture grade wax for protection & durability. This particular one of a kind piece is the exact one you will receive. Measures approximately 5" x 1.5” wide x 1.5” tall. Again, minis are not included. They are shown to depict size, scale and color of the block. Stop putting those fun mini's away!
