Description: This is for a Pre-Production Sample Review Copy of Killer Instinct for the Nintendo GameBoy that was sent out to magazines before the release of the game. This is an extremely rare Prototype version of the game. The Cartridge does have staining and other general wear but is tested and working. I have only seen a handful of these style of Prototypes in doing research on this item it is a sample cartridge with minimal to no difference from the retail release. They were sent out as a precursor of what the retail version would be. It features an eprom instead of flash memory and is only slightly larger than a standard retail gameboy game. It features a generic sticker featuring the words Nintendo Killer Instinct DMG-AKLE. You can see on the back two slots that show the board and around the eprom you can see the board as well. The last picture shows the game being played.
