Besides Mercari, Offer Up, etc this includes Cash App, Venmo, etc. It is in eBay’s, as well as the other entities’, best interest to send a more persuasive message and utilize its power to move congress into action on its behalf as well as ours. After all, what is eBay’s responsibility if not to its sellers and the exorbitant fees placed upon them, just as congress did arbitrarily and without discussion? I know my options; OfferUp and Craigslist are still options to reach larger audiences even if I have to sell items at 15-20% less than currently. I mean, until they decide to tax yards sales as well.
