Description: Nice Quality French 8 Day Striking Movement By Marti Good 8 day french movement with a nice enamel dial but does have nibbles near the winding hole and a few hairline cracks, however the hands are there, please see pictures. This count wheel escapement movement is ticking away and striking. The straps are there but need repair. Made by top French maker 'Marti'. . The bezel is good and has thick bevelled glass. The 19th century movement is incomplete and sold as not working and will fit a hole 4.75in (121mm) in diameter. The bell rings on this great quality movement which is sold as seen not working for a full restoration for parts only with no guarantees or returns.
