(Montreal) issue of 1887, engraved, no watermark, perf. 12.0x12.0. Printed on medium weight, white wove paper with vertical mesh (issue of 1891 is printed on yellowish paper), white (almost colorless) gum. Misplaced entries in left and bottom margin. Approximately 50% of original gum disturbed by previous hinging, hinge remnant. Thin and vertical crease mentioned for the record. Images should provide all the information necessary to make a reasonably intelligent bid on this lot.
