Publisher’s Original Red Cloth with Gilt Title, Embossed Seal of the State of New York, Floral End-Papers. Condition: In Very Good condition, with a strong spine showing no cracking or splitting, strong hinges showing no separation or starting, and no loose pages, annotations, foxing, or mold. Outer covers show noticeable rubbing and edge-wear: rubbing/bumping to the corners and edges, with a larger bump to the right edge slightly below center (see Image 1); white stain below the gilt "E" in "Exposition"; wear to the cloth at the foot and crown of spine, but no loss or tearing; discoloration to the upper left corner of rear board (see Image 12); slight age discoloration/dust soiling to the outer covers; inner pages show light age-tanning, but no chipping or brittleness.
