A good example of the quite scarce jacket. First printing of this fourth book from Ernest Shurtleff Holmes (1887-1960). Holmes was part of the New Thought movement in America and founded the Religious Science organization in 1926 with the publication of his book, The Science of Mind in 1926. This seminal work outlined his philosophy, which he believed was a summary of the best belief systems from around the world, or "a culmination of the age-long search for truth." The Bible in the Light of Religious Science expanded upon his earlier works, and specifically sought to explain the "hidden" messages from well known scriptural verses. This book is unaccountably scarce, with OCLC citing 10 holdings. We have not previously observed a copy in jacket.
