Description: Up for sale here is this brand new replacement for the 2SA798 dual transistor. The 2SA798 frequently goes bad in vintage equipment, and can cause you to have high DC offset, crackling, and more problems. The original dual transistor has been discontinued for decades, and is difficult to find, but luckily some fine folks on Audiokarma designed a replacement for it. This listing is for a completely built 2SA798 replacement, so all you have to do is install it. This is nice and small and will fit easily. The board is 12.4mm x 10.4mm and is 3mm thick. The wires are about 9mm long. Installation is fairly easy--you will need a soldering iron, solder, and some sort of desoldering device. If you want to save a little money, you can buy this board with no wires attached, and attach your own, which is easy.
