Their debut album, "Revelator," was released in Japan on June 8, 2011, and won a Grammy Award. The following year, in 2012, they released this two-disc live album. It was recorded from the recordings they made on their tour around the US after the release of their debut album, and is filled with the concentration and overwhelming energy that can only be found in a live performance, with a selection of songs that is perfect for a permanent collection. The title alone is a must-have for blues rock fans, as the album clearly reveals their musical roots, ranging from R&B to gospel to funk and soul. This is the first time that "Nobody's Free," a song that was often performed live but not included on an album at the time, has been included on this album. The members are the same as when they visited Japan in 2012: the late Kofi Burbridge (keyboards), Oteil Burbridge (bass), Tyler Green (drums), JJ Johnson (drums), Mike Mattison & Mark Rivers (vocals), Kebi Williams (saxophone), Maurice Brown (trumpet), and Saunders Salmons (bass).
