In. Engines (SWS Part #440-2627). This pair of Southwest Speed long tube headers are a direct fit for 79-93 Ford Mustangs & 79-86 Mercury Capri's with a Small Block Ford 302 Cu. In. (5.0 Liter) V-8 engine. Equal Length Tuned Headers out perform the factory manifolds and shorty tuned headers by building higher horsepower and torque from mid-to-high RPMs, making them perfect for both the street & strip. Equal Length Tuned Headers have a unique extended tubular design that allows for unrestricted exhaust flow to increase horsepower and torque. Ground parallel with .380" flanges on the cylinder head surface with 1 5/8" primary tubes, & feature 3" collectors and are supplied with 2-1/2" reducers that bolt to the collectors, to connect the rest of the exhaust system to the vehicle. Sold complete with header bolts and gaskets, and reducer bolts and gaskets. These Headers will fit angle plug or straight plug heads with no spark plug or spark plug wire restrictions. If exhaust temperatures are extreme at start the paint will blister and peel. There is no warranty on header paint.
