Description: 1962 House of David Park broadside poster. Benton Harbor Michigan. The House of David Park was the home of the House of David baseball team until the mid 1950’s. Some of the greatest negro league players and teams played at the park. The baseball field was still used until the 1970’s. This poster advertises a game between Phillips 66 and the Hartford Aces. The poster was made during the time of the World’s Fair as advertised within. The dating was possible thanks to that tidbit. Poster is about 5 by 8 inch in size. Stains, toning, wear, creasing and tears. Feel free to ask questions.
