Description: I have decided to switch things up a bit in my listings. I have a TON of Native American Jewelry from my mothers estate. It has been just sitting around. It is such a shame, she loved collecting these pieces and had so much fun. So, over the next couple of weeks (June2023) I will be flooding my shop with the unique pieces that she hand selected. My sister and I hope you will enjoy her passion. This is an Old Pawn bracelet, cataloged as "Chiefs Bracelet Sgn. Gomez". It is an early hallmark for Francisco Gomez of the Navajo tribe. This artist does a lot of fabulous hand carving of Turquoise jewelry. This bracelet is huge heavy and solid. It is crafted from sterling silver with a very large piece of sleeping beauty turquoise. The turquoise is fabulous a rich turquoise with a bit of natural veining. The turquoise is a hand polished slap cut that is set in a smooth bezel setting. Surrounding the turquoise is twisted rope as well as silver bead balls. The shoulders are adorned with a flower and feathers on each side. The inside is hallmarked G as well as sterling. There are other artists that use G as their hallmark, but the G is different, this one is completely consistent with Francisco's work. The bracelet is in excellent condition with normal wear. It features a nice patina.
