Description: Specimen description: The crystal structure is there but not the crystal shape. This is a heavily etched aggregate specimen, with step line structure patterns. There are zones of purple, (both dark and light colored), clear quartz, and pale yellows seen. Specimen origin: Bolivia. Large cabinet size. Luster is vitreous. Matrix attached; Only very minute amounts, and then only in the deepest cavities. Treatments; NONE. Fractures: Surprisingly enough, cannot find any fractures through the rough exterior. PICTURES: All pictures taken outdoors with the sun behind the specimen in all pictures except the last 2. Dimensions are approx. Length 4 3/4 inches.
