Description: Napoleon III Egyptian Revival Mantle Clock Garniture c.1860This is an outstanding Napoleon III period Egyptian revival mantle clock garniture set by Henri Marc of Paris, circa 1860. It is a large & impressive set.The movement by Samuel Marti is in working order, there is also a retailers label for Smith & Sons Silversmiths of Nottingham.The overall design is engraved, gilded & lacquered with parcel gilt bronze mounts of Egyptian gods.
