This print is from an issue of The Mentor magazine, which was first published in 1913 (thru 1931) by The Mentor Association, "Established for the Development of a Popular Interest in Art, Literature, Science, History, Nature and Travel". The Mentor Library was vast and covered a wide range of interesting topics. Many of the covers themselves (especially the later color ones) are all very artistic and fine works of art, and are highly collectible! Print has a full-page historical monograph on the back. Measurements: Approx 6-1/2" x 9" Intaglio gravure - a printing process that uses an etched or engraved plate; the plate is smeared with ink and wiped clean, then the ink left in the recesses makes the print NOTE: Condition is very good with usual corners bunts.
