Description: Selling my one-owner Model 607 coin sorter with the optional Model 707 vibrating electric feeder manufactured by Nadex Industries. Bought it in the mid-1990’s (it has a date of June 19, 1995) after seeing it in an airplane magazine full of things you don’t see every day and figured it would come in handy in emptying the 5-gallon bottle full of coins at home. The combined units weren’t cheap, but well worth it in time savings, and it was just amazing fun to watch it work. A reasonable number of coins are dumped into the top feeder hopper. When turned on the feeder will vibrate, which can be adjusted to control the flow of coins, and the coins will fall into the bottom sorter unit where gravity and varying slot sizes guide the coins to their appropriate stacking tube. When the coins in the feeder are almost gone, simply add some more to keep going. At some point you must stop to clear the coins at the bottom. Pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters will be sorted into their appropriate slot at the bottom, though sometimes you may have to help clear a minor traffic jam. Oversized coins are separated out into a small container near the top of the sorter. The units are made of a durable hard plastic. There is also a 4-inch square “Verifier” which can be used to double check the coin count. The Verifier can be stored on the underside of the sorter. I’m also adding an allen wrench you can use to loosen or tighten the bolts holding the units together. The sorter works just fine but shows some light signs of use. The feeder has a scratch on one side and there is a chip on the top of one of the ridges. Also, the motor shield has some corrosion on it (see pictures), but the motor is fine. Some minor scratches, but otherwise I noticed no other defects or flaws.
