Description: This is a one of a kind piece of Muhammad Ali boxing career memorabilia that he personally owned and gifted to his manager Bernie Yuman. The artist who created this chair was Rejean St Jules, who is related to Bernie. The paint is in good condition and it’s very colorful. There are a few spots where the chair wood has a small chip. Three obvious spots on the flat part of chair seat on the right leg area below the Rejean St. Jules autograph (see pics). There are some white paint areas around both shoulders around the chest areas, those were designed to be there (the paint is not coming off in any way) as you can see from last picture provided with Ali sitting on the chair when originally presented to him and those white paint areas are present at that time. Muhammad Ali Manager: A quote from Bernie Yuman: In November of 1999, he asked me to be his manager. I was touched. I was humbled. I was inspired. I said yes. Any day I woke up after that day in January of 2000 and expressed the words, “My name is Bernie Yuman, and I am the manager of Muhammad Ali,” it was perhaps the best moment of my lifetime. Any time I could represent him and close a deal on his behalf, I was overwhelmed with joy, for “deserve” is an important word, and nobody deserves more than Muhammad Ali, for he is not the greatest fighter of all time, but he is the greatest human being with the most kindness, sincerity, love and empathy that has ever come in contact with me. About the artist Réjean St. Jules: Self-taught artist, Rejean St. Jules was born in Montreal, Canada and raised as a second-generation circus performer. Rejean performed with the family juggling act and later went on to become a renowned solo performer. He has performed his act on the Las Vegas Strip for 25 years, working in many of the largest production shows in Las Vegas. He recently retired from the stage to pursue his art, where he is hoping to work for another 25 years. In November of 2023 I personally invited and met with artist Rejean in Las Vegas at an event I hosted and was able to talk with him about the chair he created and gifted to Ali. He told me that the damage to the right foot of the chair was done when Ali himself sat on the chair and broke that small piece off the wood off when getting up. The last picture in this listing shows Ali & Artist Rejean actually sitting on the chair. I will print a copy of this picture for whomever purchases this chair. This is an extremely rare opportunity to own a piece of art created for, and owned by, the greatest boxer of all time. There is provenance for the creation of and ownership of the chair from the artist himself. This was owned by Ali himself. It was double autographed by Ali, personalized to his manager Bernie, and signed by the artist. When can you ever own anything previously owned by such a legend? Please review all pictures provided for details of condition and please ask any all questions before purchase The chair measures 51” tall from the floor to Ali’s head. His arms are 28” across, the seat is 16” x 17.5, the legs measure 19” tall, the flat part of seat to top of head is 32”, and the wood is nearly 1” thick so it’s sturdy.
