The book is in acceptable condition, being ex-library with the usual markings and attachments. There's no dust jacket. The pebbled, gilt-decorated grey cloth boards show soiling, frayed extremities, a moisture stain at front top, fading to the gilt at the spine. The hinges have cracked and are repaired with clear tape. It's also cracked after the first page. The first two pages are chipped at the top corner. The interior is age-toned.
