Schiff Scout Reservation Boy Scouts of America Mendham, New Jersey c.1950's original vintage booklet about the reservation Measures 5.25" by 8.5" and contains 16 pages not numbered including covers. Stapled binding. While not dated, there is content inside that mentions the completion of a new school building in 1949. Based on contents and photos inside I estimate this to be from the 1950's era. It is advertising copy explaining the camp including inside front cover how camp was dedicated to Mrs. Jacob H. Schiff's son who died while he was the President of the Boy Scouts of America. There is mention of the national training schools for professional scouters, an aerial view of the complex with numbers to identify locations (wow look at how the Mendham, NJ area has changed), and on the inside back cover a diagram map of the roads near the camp. Condition as shown in the photos with this listing is considered Good. It has some age and use, rub and scuff mostly on cover paper board, including creases. However, no handwriting or water stains.
