It was published Charles Scribner's Sons in 1916. Condition: Good--pages show slight handling; a few pages have a word underlined or a note in the margins (look at the 8th and 9th photos); the front end page has been torn out (look at the 7th photo); binding tight; covers in nice shape. Wild Animals I Have Known is a PB. It was published by Peregrine Smith, Inc. in 1977. It is a reprint of the 1898 edition. Condition: Good--pages show little to no handling; there is a name on the front end page/half title page (look at the 3rd photo); there is a little foxing on the top of the pages; covers have a little rubbing wear.
