I was friends with David for years until he passed away and worked for David when he had his store ( Casa De Spada ) on Avenue B in the East Village between 12th and 13th streets in the early 1980's. I have a vast Archive of his pieces made in Aluminum and Rubber from the early 1980's to the 1990's. I purchased this piece from David for my collection. We made a lot of Jewelry for Grace Jones and Madonna and collaborated with Kieth Haring. All guaranteed originals! This is an unsigned piece, not everything was stamped ( SPADA ). 6th picture shows Grace Jones wearing this bracelet in Purple.These are RARE pieces in Museums now and very collectable!!! Last three pictures are David's pieces in the Philadelphia Museum of Art!!!.
