A mint, unused, unsharpened and uncommon Wingen, Solingen “Othello” brand handmade hunter/skinner “Safari” model number 4414, complete with original tan leather edge-sealed sheath. This knife sreams “quality”. Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches long overall. Full tang blade measures approximately 5 inches long, tip to start of bolster. Pronounced “choke-up” finger groove. Obverse blade etched “Safari Hunting Knife N. 4414 Hand Made”. Obverse ricasso with “Othello” mark and “Wingen Rostfrei Solingen Germany”. Thumb grip jimping to spine. Polished bolster with finger stop. Beautiful gnarly stag scales secured by two polished pins. Polished pommel. Thick, well made leather sheath with brass button fastener and sealed edges.
