I bought her in July 2019, and she's been barely played. She's in mint condition and has been kept in a humidity-controlled case using D'Addario's Humidipak technology. Absolutely no dings! I bought her to record two songs which I have done. Why would I buy a $6300 guitar for two songs? Long story short, she sounds that good. Long story long? I had a great-sounding Ibanez, but I wanted a better song and feel for recording my songs. I went to Sweetwater to buy what I thought would be no more than a $2000 guitar, but the wood on the Ibanez had aged so well, that I only found a marginal improvement in sound at the 2K range. Eventually, I played this guitar, and I had to have her! The torrefaction process ages the Sitka spruce top 20 years giving her an amazing and mature sound. Add to that her Koa back and sides and you have a beautifully crafted piece of art with phenomenal sound and sustain. I hate to let her go, but I bought a keyboard and promised I'd sell her to pay for it. It's time for this lady to make someone else very happy!
