Locality: Red Lead Mine, Dundas Region, Tasmania, Australia Crocoite is a sulphite mineral that consists of lead chromate and forms bright red, prismatic crystals. It is a product of the oxidation of Cr3+ into CrO4 (from chromite) and decomposition of galena. Crystals will be packaged together in a small bag, and a small bit of flaking may occur due to the nature of the crystals. Putty and stand not included.
