From factory, the Mini front Ducts and trims are a standard gloss black finish. In their own right it's a nicely designed part but looks quite plain for what effectively is a super hot hatch. We have based our own carbon fibre version on the OEM original. Our design provides an aggressive look for the front end of your Mini and enhances the styling dramatically. These are made with Twill carbon fibre, in keeping with the genuine Mini carbon parts available. We produce these parts in 100% prepreg autoclave carbon which is the strongest, lightest carbon available. Installation These ducts are fixed from inside of the front bumper and as such require the front bumper to be removed to install the new carbon versions. These being 100% carbon fibre, they are very stiff and will need to be pushed in firmly to engage, this is easier with the bumper removed which is fairly straight forward.
