Description: The stein depicted in this auction was made by an unknown maker from Germany. The stein is porcelain & the size is 1.0 L with a very nice pewter lid & pewter thumb. The stein is in mostly white and in color. There is no form number on the stein or the base. The name of the stein is Garde-Dion.-Bat. (Munchen) 1906-09. The stein also has a lithophane of a soldier and a women. This stein would be a nice addition to any beer stein collection. I was informed by an E-Bayer that the stein is a reproduction made some time ago in the 1950's or 1960's.
