This Miles Davis Quintet album is one of a series that can be found as a box set of Prestige recordings, or purchased individually. Mostly the same musicians recorded a handful of albums in a short span of time as The Miles Davis Quintet: "Steamin' ", "Workin' ", "Cookin' ", Relaxin' ", recorded in sessions to fulfill his Prestige contract (so Columbia could sign him... ) There is also a record called "Miles" from this era with many of the same musicians that fits nicely with these..
