Description: Under consideration is a vintage, Art Nouveau, stunning red floral display, multilayered Cameo carved glass, 32 inch tall, FRENCH YELLOW CAMEO ART LAMP. Made in France and signed Galle'. Design:Lamp design comprises 3 parts. 2 Glass parts, 25” tall base and 18 1/2” diameter shade, and 1 metal part, the bronze spider fitter that support the shade. The soft yellow colored glass base and shade contains groupings of raised Cameos depicting intricate red floral blossoms and buds with dark red leaves and stems, positioned around their circumferences. The 25 inch tall yellow base has the bottom 5 inch decorated in a dark red color with the retaining containing large 4 to 5 inch red blossoms and buds with accompanied dark red leaves and stems.The mushroom shaped yellow shade has 3 sets of the large raised red florals displays with dark red foliage each equally spaced around the circumference of the shade, with large dark red leaves forming the shade’s border. Signed Galle”.Note: The exquisite workmanship of the artist is on display in the precise details exhibited by the blossoms and leaves, where the flower petal ribs, leaf veins and stems are made visible.The 3rd part of the lamp is a unique securing bracket developed to support the shade. There is a 6” diameter metal ring attached to the rim of the lamp body, secured by 3 screws. Attached to the metal ring, with 2 screws each, are three 8 3/8 inch long bronze metal arms extending out from the center of the lamp. On the end of each arm are adjustable screw hook devices that, when properly set, secures the shade's rim to the metal support arms, preventing movement.There is a light bulb in the base and a light bulb under the shade.Note: To prevent damage during packing and shipping the metal securing arms will be removed from the lamp fixture. The metal arms and screws will be included in the shipment, but, not installed on lamp.
