Crafted from Green Resin, this trapazoid-shaped candle holder features a diamond pattern and textured finish. This holder is suitable for a tall glass encased votive candle. It is not designed to hold a wax candle that is not enclosed in glass or some other non-flammable material as the Resin may catch on fire. This Green Resin Candle Holder is 9.5 inches tall, with a width of 6 inches across at the widest point. This original candle holder was crafted in the 1960's and is signed by the artist on the bottom. This pre-owned resin candle holder is in Good condition, however it does show some signs or wear. There is some wax residue on the inside at the very bottom. The top and bottom of the candle holder appears to have been lightly sanded during the production, leaving the sides shiny while the top and bottom has a matte appearance. Some of the corner edges appear to have been lightly sanded as well, perhaps to smooth out burrs or other small imperfections along the edge. I have included a photo showing this phenomenon. Elsewhere there is a very small nick or chip along one edge (see photo). This candle holder can be cleaned with mild dish soap and a soft brush.
