Measures roughly 39 mm x 31 mm. There are no cracks in the black glass. The tesserae are completely intact (the tiny handmade glass tiles). Please zoom and examine the photos carefully for additional details and condition for they are all part of the description. Many people collect the plaques as they are. Others chose to have them set as jewelry in gold or silver as a ring, pendant, or brooch. There are chips on the backside of the plaque. Once set in a new setting, you will not see the chip. The new setting will hide it. Please expect scratches and chips as this item is over 120 years old.
