It has blue, brown, green, and red colors and dimensions of 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the La Cangrejera oil refinery plant and the 44th president of Mexico, Lazaro Cardenas. Its reverse side features the Banco de Mexico logo, the Hallazgos del Templo Mayor (Coyolxauhqui Main Temple) and the La Diosa de la Luna (Moon Goddess) stone carving. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread.
