Our moulds and production techniques capture and reproduce all the fine detail from the original carvings to produce a very high-quality piece with all the authenticity from the original carving. Taken from the medieval carvings 1490 – 1495 from within the choir stalls of Ripon Cathedral. This magnificent and outstanding reproduction carving is known as The Ripon Hound. The carving is of a Medieval hunting hound and is found on the Misericords as a support carving. It's a stunning carving of a Hound that's in excellent condition and the reproduction captures all the fine detail that the master craftsmen put in to this piece of work over 500 years ago.
