Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts. Like with the Deluxe line, I wanted some of our Silver line of meerschaums to feature a few classic shapes not typically found on meerschaum pipes—those being the ones more typically found on briar pipes. And since the Deluxe Oom Paul shapes turned out to be a roaring success, I thought it would be a good idea to offer the same for smokers who prefer silver mounted pipes. This is exactly what that is. Its a little more stout than classical Oom Pauls, in part to accommodate the reverse calabash chamber in its shank, but the homage to iconic designs, such as those of Sasieni and Comoys, is still there. The pipe even has a horn-hued acrylic stem to really drive the old-world aesthetic home.
