Description: COINSANCIENT MAXIMIANUS. Denomination: AR argenteus. Date 285 - 310 A.D. Obverse: MAXIMIANVS AVG: Laureate bust right. Reverse: VIRTVS MILITVM: The four tetrarchs sacrificing in front of camp gate. . Size: References: Comments: Some marks consistent with prolonged burial. Flan split at top and reverse die wear as shown. Not expensive for the grade and with a super portrait. Notes: We do not accept offers for items we list.
