Description: A pair of vintage German monkey musicians in typical used condition. They are quite old and the condition speaks to a long life of delighting small children. Please review the photos carefully and read the full description below. Given the age and materials, robust use should not be expected. We would consider these display items. Mohair, glass eyes, felt, tin or similar metal.They are approximately 8" tall. Drummer: the mechanism works, but he plays a bit sporadically. His Charlie Watts days are in the past. The arm coverings have detached at the shoulders, and the stitching around his drum is loose, but this would be a fairly straightforward needle & thread fix. He is missing a pompom on the hat. Cymbals: this one does not work, and the winder does not seem to engage, so we assume the spring is broken. Otherwise the condition is fair to good, with some wear to the mohair visible at appendages.
