Description: In this listing we have a really nice partial doll outfit. This doll outfit was released by Mattel as part of the Barbie Collector line and originally came with the Gloria Estefan doll. This doll outfit was based on one of her stage costumes and is a really nice recreation of it. This listing is for everything shown in the pictures. There’s a black velvet jacket with gold printed details, glued on gems, gold trim, and a cuff detail on one cuff with black with gold thread tulle, a gold fake leather bralette, a pair of black stretch knit leggings with two different length pant legs, a fake leopard print belt with attached gold laser cut lace, a gold plastic necklace, a black plastic microphone, and a clear plastic covering to protect the doll from staining from the jacket. The original doll did get staining on her wrists and hand from the fabric and the tulle. This outfit does NOT include shoes. This outfit is designed to fit Barbie dolls with the “Original” sized orso and will fit similar sized dolls. The bralette and belt have Velcro in the back, the leggings stretch to fit, the necklace is open in the back to go on the doll’s neck, and the microphone has a handle for the doll to hold it. This doll outfit was made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person. This doll outfit is in good shape. It has never been played with and was just removed from the box. It does have some issues though. The jacket is in good shape. It does have excess threads at the side seams at the sleeves and the bottom hem on the tulle detail at the sleeve. The gold printing on the body of the jacket is just that printed and could wear off over time and with use. The gem details are just glued on and could come off over time and with use. They have been applied a little crooked. The tulle at the shoulders and the sleeve are unhemmed on the edges. Some of the edges are a little choppy, they weren’t cut out as neatly as they could have been. The tulle on the left shoulder is really tiny, it’s almost non-existent. There is also some excess threads at the start and end of the gold detailing at the shoulders. At the start and end of the gold trim around the edge of the jacket the edges weren’t were sewn into the jacket and the unfinished edges on the trim are exposed. The trim could start to come undone along the edges, I’d be careful with it. The gold bralette is in good shape. It has excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on and where the straps are sewn to the back of the bodice. On the back at the Velcro they didn’t tuck the inside hem fully under when sewing it down so the inside hem is visible at the back. I will mention that this type of fabric will age poorly. This fabric will crack and the top layer of the fabric will peel off over time. It’s just how it ages. I would be careful stretching it since that could cause it to crack and peel earlier. The leggings are in good shape. They have excess threads at the back of the waist along the center seam and at both inseams at the cuffs. The inside hem tends to want to flip out be be visible from the outside on both pant cuffs, they will need to be rolled back under and tucked into place when on the doll. On both cuffs the inseam is a little uneven where one side is a little longer compared to the other. The inseam is somewhat visible at the cuffs. The belt is in good shape. There are excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on. There is also excess threads on the right and left of the top hem at the front where the gold fabric is sewn to the fabric. There are cuts to the sides at the top, it looks like those were guides to show where the gold lace gets sewn on at the factory. The edges of the animal print fabric is intentionally unhemmed. In some spots the white underside of the fabric is visible along the edges. The necklace and the microphone are in good shape. They have seam lines and mold injection spots. There is some excess plastic along some of the seam lines. The plastic used for the necklace is a little thin. It’s intentional, but I would be careful with the necklace because it could be easy to accidentally bend or warp it. The post of the microphone is a little warped and there are some indented lines in it from how it was posed in the box. Hopefully this eases out over time. The clear plastic cover is in fair shape. It’s just a piece designed to protect the doll from staining from the jacket. It just has some simple stitching along the arms and side seams. The edges are slightly rough. It’s included, but not great quality. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
