Description: Master Addresser Model 99 - vintage office/mail room machine Before I get into the condition of this item let me be very plain. This is the first of these I have ever seen so my description is based only on what I see about this machine. Let's be real, anything this machine does can be done much easier on a computer so people are not buying these type machines to use. It is a collectable machine for those who collect old manual type office machines. This is a nice example of this machine.I made a video of this thing moving like it should work when the handle is pushed down but I cannot figure out how to post it so I will describe what I see. When the handle is pushed down it makes a mechanical sound sort of like a pump shotgun and the part under the handle moves forward and "should" pick up the 3"x5" address card and pull it back to under the handle. The black rubber wheel to the right of the handle turns. NOTE - I do have the metal lid for the address cards that weights them down to be ready for pickup. I'M SORRY IF THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE but this is what I see.All this being said, I assume it works but may need adjustment or repairAppears to be in very good condition, stored well for many years. No rust or messed up paint. Selling AS IS for use, parts or repair or as a cool collectible paperweight whichever is applicable. If you don't know what A IS means please do not buy this item.
