Description: Rare square ribbed 1920's Ball clear blown glass quart size mason jar with an antique zinc cap made into a lamp. Antique Eagle burner that is fitted with an early vintage clear glass chimney shade. The jar is old with no cracks with a very tiny flea bite on the inner rim, it does have some minor small scratches. The old Eagle clawed burner has a little patina with part of an antique wick which I believe it is original. It has been soldered to the antique zinc cap with the porcelain liner removed. The vintage shade almost looks new even though it is about 45 years old, it has no chips or cracks, it might have a tiny scratch in a spot or two if you look really hard where the claws are. Hand crafted antique imperfect is a part of its charm. The jar is rare and usable made into a unique lamp. You may want to put a longer wick in it, but you would not have to because it does not go all the way to the bottom of the jar, or you can use it as is. 16" tall, about 4 1/4" wide across the belly of the shade. Many uses from this piece for different looks, each piece could be interchanged with others for a different look. Please review photos for details.
